Surplus that would be crushed, put to use.

Share surplus precast elements for community, pilot and non-profit projects — reducing waste and supporting impact work.

Over-runs, trial pours and cancelled orders leave sound elements with nowhere to go. Crushing them costs money and loses the embodied carbon. The programme routes them to projects that can use them.

How it works

  1. 01

    Offer the surplus

Photograph what you have and note any defects honestly — recipients need to know what they are collecting.

  2. 02

    We publish it

Listings go to registered community groups, municipalities and non-profit contractors in the region.

  3. 03

    Recipient collects

Collection is arranged directly. Most donors ask only that the units leave the yard promptly.

  4. 04

    Record the diversion

Tonnage diverted from crushing is recorded, which many donors report against their own sustainability targets.

What this suits

  • Over-runs from a completed order
  • Trial pours and mould commissioning units
  • Sound elements from a cancelled contract
  • Cosmetic seconds that are structurally fine
