Terms of Use

The platform's role

Precast Industries is a marketplace. Contracts for supply are between buyer and vendor; we are not a party to them and do not take title to goods.

Where we provide inspection, appraisal or auction services, those are supplied by us directly and are covered by the terms specific to each service.

Listings and accuracy

Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including dimensions, standards claimed and lead times quoted.

We verify vendors before listings go live, and we remove listings we find to be materially inaccurate. Verification is not a warranty of any individual listing.

Technical data

Drawings, calculations and standards references published on the platform are provided for reference. They do not replace project-specific engineering, and the responsibility for specification remains with the specifier.

Where a document is a manufacturer original, it is published with permission and remains that manufacturer's intellectual property.

Auctions

Bids are binding and cannot be retracted. The inspection report attached to a lot is the reference for its condition on the date recorded.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the catalogue, misrepresent your identity or business, or use the platform to distribute another party's technical documentation without permission.

Accounts found doing so are closed, and listings associated with them are removed.

Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.
