What we collect
Account details you give us — name, work email, company and country — when you register, request a quote or apply to list as a vendor.
Usage data about how the platform is used: pages viewed, searches run and listings opened. This is used to improve the catalogue, not to build a profile of you.
Browsing the marketplace and downloading technical data does not require an account and is not tied to an identity.
Why we collect it
To route enquiries to the right vendor or desk, to verify vendors before their listings go live, and to run auctions where bidding must be attributable.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with vendors beyond what is needed to answer the enquiry you sent them.
How long we keep it
Enquiry threads and their attachments are retained for the life of the account, because a specification dispute can surface years after delivery.
Usage data is aggregated after 12 months and no longer linked to an individual account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for your account and its data to be deleted.
Deletion does not remove records the platform is required to retain — auction bid history, for example, is kept as a transaction record.
